Melancholy Melania: The Stockholm Syndrome of Donald Trump

In the news today:

Melania states she's the most bullied person in the world.

I think I tend to side a bit with her. In understanding Stockholm Syndrome, we see that victims and hostages can eventually align and support their victimizers, bullies.  I've seen many documentaries and observed parents where moms supported the father's beating of their children: "he deserves every lash".

It just seems that when people are traumatized that the brain and the personality crumbles. See how this occurs in the brain at the PBS clips:

https://narcissistdonaldtrump.blogspot.com/

These clips are those links that I've linked people to as a resource most over the last 5 years: how the brain crumbles under bullying, and how we / others sell out by propaganda of bullies, cons, and political psychopaths.

Melania Trump In Africa

Is she bullied?
Is she doing so because of vulnerability, and being abused and bullied by Trump?

Yes

what happened to Melania Trump's anti-bullying campaign

And, is she making errors?
Yes, there are odd errors in her clothing, and it seems Donald is the one making choices and statements via some of her clothing. I think it is beyond coincidence that her clothing choices have been statements of White Male Dominance!!!

It's clear that Melania is a pawn in the giant chess game that brilliant political psychopaths mount.  I've been monitoring Melania's statements, clothing, appearances, and catch phrases, and clearly all are engineered by and serving Trump.

Can the mind make sense of this all when one has been bullied? Not really. Judgement and self protections are gone.

We can pity her, we can understand her.  The goal is for any victim and Melania to:

1. Stand up to the bully, and say no

2. Become your own person

3. Help others who've been bullied

How far gone can victims of bullying and Stockholm Syndrome go, as in over some edge or cliff?  History provides many examples. The members of Charles Manson's cult became sold out cult members and murderers. Some were never able to bring their lives back from Manson's crazy planet. Others that did lead fractured lives. The destruction is monumental.

Outerspace. Donald Trump's Crazy Town.  Can you ever get out of it?

Some may make it back, some don't. Propaganda and the crazy chess game takes a big toll:

a. it is the starting place where crazies lead all of histories largest genocides

b. in whole communities or countries given over to piracy, more and more get brought into the dangerous whirl pool of loss of self and selling out to the bully / political psychopaths.

Well, she has her supporters on the clothing: those under the propaganda of Trump: nightly campaign rallies have been held for weeks now.

There are those who have taken a more critical stand than I on Melania's passive role with Trump. And, there truly is a place where one says:
There is a Gaslighter here
and
You're sold out, conned, and you've got to *****ing stop it, fast:

REALLY?

Experts to Melania Trump: You Are Not the ‘Most Bullied Person in the World’

Anti-bullying advocates say the first lady forgot one important thing: She’s the one with the power.

On her recent swing through Africa, between visits with dignitaries and photo-ops in front of the Great Sphinx, First Lady Melania Trump declared that she could be “the most bullied person in the world.”

To experts who study bullying and work to prevent it, the suggestion was absurd.

“It’s really crazy to say that she is being bullied,” said Fred Rivara, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington and expert on child bullying. For an interaction to meet the threshold of bullying, he explained, it must involve an imbalance of power.

“The big thing here with Melania Trump is she’s the one in power,” Rivara said. “Her husband is the president of the United States. So how can she say that she’s bullied?”

Trump made the comments in an interview with ABC News aired Thursday, in which she promoted her anti-bullying initiative, Be Best. Her focus on the issue has raised eyebrows in light of her husband’s penchant for doling out insults and abuse.

Dressed in colonial-settler chic for her tour through Ghana, Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt last week, Trump told ABC’s Tom Llamas that she started the initiative in part because of “what people are saying about me.”

“I could say I’m the most bullied person in the world,” she added, not explaining further what she meant by the comment.

Parry Aftab, the founder of the StopCyberbullying program, acknowledged that Trump has been the target of harsh criticism online. But she argued that this kind of scrutiny should be expected by those in the public eye.

“When you're involved in politics and public life, you need to recognize that you are a target for everybody,” Aftab told The Daily Beast. “People may not like your hair, people may not like your politics, they may not like who you’re married to … But if you enter public life, that’s part of the cost that you pay for that.”

Aftab also worried that the first lady’s comments would divert attention from those who are the most vulnerable to bullying: children. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, nearly 30 percent of U.S. students in grades 6-12 have experienced bullying, and more than 70 percent have witnessed it.

LGBTQ youth and children with disabilities are especially vulnerable to bullying, particularly online. A third of all lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth are bullied at school, and LGB kids are twice as likely to be cyberbullied as their straight peers, according to the Trevor Project.

“I think it belittles kids who are afraid to go to school, who are afraid to turn on Instagram because of [cyberbullying],” Atab said of the first lady’s comments.

“It’s a misuse of a term that shouldn’t be used by someone in power,” she added. “And the first lady, like it or not, is someone with a lot of power.”

At what point do tell Melania the truth, and even tell our self the truths:

1. Step one, see propaganda is in the works
2. see we're being bullied and losing our "self"
3. throw our self a life preserver
4. confront our hopelessness and despair

and then find the other 5 or so steps to our recovery?
