Respect is a very deep experience. Unfortunately, the Gaslighter is the pro at looking respectful, convincing the other they're respectful, while all along, they're about stealing something. In the movie Gaslight, this dapper vampire like respect is all a part of the con. The Gaslighter is skilled, just as John Gacy was skilled at putting on a responsible social persona, while busying himself other hours burying bodies in the basement.

While demonstrating false respect and love, this Gaslighter is always ready to reinforce his con story: you're crazy.
